On our half and full day charters we head to the top end of Hook Island area as these charters are a 6 or 8 hour option. The itinerary for the day charters can include 2 locations on the full day charter & 1 location on the half day charter. Anchorages are tailored and adapted to suit the weather and tides but could include Mantaray Bay, Langford Island, Stonehaven Bay or South Molle Island. If the weather conditions get too windy and we cannot get to these locations we can also charter closer to Airlie Beach Bay and use our in-water swim enclosure. There is not enough time on our day charters to get to Whitehaven Beach. To include Whitehaven Beach you would need to book the 2 day 1 night or longer charter length.

On an overnight charter the anchorages and locations will be dependent on the length of charter you choose. The possibilities are endless with 74 tropical Whitsunday Islands to explore! Top Whitsunday 'must do's' on each charter are of course the magnificent Hill Inlet Whitehaven Beach- the picture postcard that really does need to be seen to be believed. Travelling overnight allows us to have the time to pick the best tides to get our guests up there to beat the day crowds and get the best of the swirling silica sands.

South Whitehaven is also top priority and we also try and overnight in the bay which is something only an overnight charter can achieve. SUnset and sunrises here are so special. There are multiple bush walks at South Whitehaven and you can easily spend 1- 2 days here alone if you really want to relax and soak it all in. Other listed anchorages for overnight charters could be Chalkies beach, Honeymoon Bay, Chance Bay, Turtle Bay, Nara Inlet, Cid Harbour, Hook Passage, Saba Bay, Mackeral bay, Mantaray Bay, Luncheon Bay, Butterfly Bay, Stonehaven Bay,

Your skipper is very knowledgeable on the water and will sail the vessel with the correct weather conditions for each charter. Keeping our guests comfortable is our top priority and the anchorages can vary depending on those conditions. At night we stay in protected bays that help keep the boat stable at night- we do not anchor in open areas.

All our charters and vessels depart and return from Coral Sea Marina Airlie Beach.
The exact meeting point is meeting point B at the Northern End - near the roundabout under the white umbrellas. If parking a car, the car park is located near the other marina building (Southern End). Be careful not to mix up which marina building. Head to Google maps if you get into trouble and search for us on there! Remember meeting Point B at the Northern End! We can pick up and drop off to Daydream Island if required. We do not pick up and drop off to Hamilton Island.

Our half day and full day charters may be on Wings II or Wings III vessels.

Typically our overnight charters are on the SV Wings III- she is the ultimate charter vessel perfect for small or large groups. She also has a class C, Outer Great Barrier Reef survey which allows her to travel 50 nautical miles past the Whitsunday Islands and can also be combined on charter with our 7.5 metre RIB ( additional costs apply) Wings III has few extra premium vessel specs including a top sundeck and then the foredeck jacuzzi. ( Now with back deck swim enclosure just in case the weather is too windy and uncomfortable to head across the passage on our day charters)

Please note there is a different price structure depending on which vessel you choose and also how many guests you have. Both of our sailing catamarans are sister ships and they look almost identical.
