When you book a half day charter with us at Wings Sailing Charters Whitsundays you can expect tailored personal experience from start to finish. From your initial enquiry to the booking process we aim to make it as easy and stress free as possible so you can jump onboard and just enjoy the special moments! That is the absolute beauty of a skippered private charter- the choice is your! Our Half Day Charter sails across the tropical blue waters of the Whitsunday passage anchorages such as Cockatoo Point, Langford Spit, Stonehaven Bay, Blue Pearl Bay & Dolphin Point or even head towards South Molle Island. 

These iconic areas are located at the the Northern End of Hook Island area near Hayman Island & the iconic South Molle Island is part of the Molle group of islands. Your skipper is very knowledgeable on the water and will sail the vessel with the correct weather conditions in mind on the day. Keeping our guests comfortable is our top priority and the anchorage choices can vary depending on those conditions. 

The freedom of a Private Charter gives you the choice of your departure & return times. We find the best departure time is so we can make sure you get a superb Sunset Sail coming home on the day. If you are travelling with small children departing earlier may suit you better- the choice is yours!

 Half Day Private Charter popular times are 10am- 4pm, 11am-5pm or 12- 6pm.

All our charters depart and return from Coral Sea Marina Airlie Beach. The exact meeting point is meeting point B at the Northern End - near the roundabout under the white umbrellas. If parking a car, the car park is located near the other marina building (Southern End). Be careful not to mix up which marina building. Head to googlemaps if you get into trouble and search for us on there! Remember meeting Point B at the Northern End!

Half Day Sailing Charters and special events charters operate on the vessel SV Wings III- she is the ultimate entertaining catamaran & perfect sailing vessel with top sundeck, covered shaded back deck and fully air conditioned comfort inside. Can we bring any additional food items or birthday cakes?
Yes you most certainly can- this is your exclusive private charter. We have plenty of cold refrigeration space for all your needs. Bring your BYO to the vessel on the day already pre chilled- no one likes a hot beer!

Is there any ice onboard? 
There is 1 bag of ice for charter

Do we need bottles of water?
No- we have cold filtered water for you to stay hydrated all day and this is included in your charter prices.

Can we pre order alcohol and have it delivered?
Yes this is absolutely a great idea. It makes your day less stress free and relaxing. If you do not see what you like give Whitsunday Provisioning a call and they can source this for your charter.

Do you sell soft drinks onboard?
No we do not- please BYO any drinks for your charter there is no bar onboard

Please note Australian school holidays, public holidays & long weekends will incur a 15% surcharge for private charters.
