People from all around the world make Whitehaven Beach a must-see destination when they come to Australia. This unique beach located at Whitsunday Island is famous for its bright white sands, clear waters, and magnificent views from Hill Inlet Lookout.

There are no resorts on Whitehaven Beach and spending the night there is only possible in some camping areas. One of the most magical adventures you can have in the Whitsundays is to spend the night aboard a private vessel next to the beach and wake up before the first ferries from Airlie Beach arrive. This is the best chance you have of walking and swimming at Whitehaven alone or with your buddy.

There are amazing bays at Whitsunday Island that we love to visit with our guests. From amazing snorkeling spots to secluded beaches and great anchorages to spend the night under the stars.

Spend a smooth and calm night at Cid Harbour after a challenging and rewarding hike; paddle, snorkel and relax in Turtle Bay; and hike and spot sea turtles at Chance Bay.

Border Island, close to Whitsundays Islands, is home to Cateran Bay, the place to go for a snorkelling stopover and a secluded overnight under the milky way.

Hook Island is famous for its snorkelling spots and untouched bays like Butterfly Bay, Manta Ray Bay and Mackeral Bay. Don’t lose your chance to get to know George, a massive and friendly Maori Wrasse fish who resides in Mantaray Bay!

Anchoring and spending the night at Stonehaven, located also in Hook Island is probably the best experience for those who love sunsets and falling asleep under the milky way. Stonehaven is close to the best snorkelling spots and due to its good wind protection, is a popular spot for overnight vessels.

Langford Island Spit Reef is a must-visited destination for anyone exploring the Whitsundays. This small and untouched island has a fringing coral reef that makes it ideal for snorkelling and discovering marine life. Also, during low tide, a long sand spit stands along the water creating a magical destination where you can stop your kayak or SUP Board and have a picnic in the middle of the ocean.

Of course, this is not all. Hayman Island, Hamilton Island, Daydream Island are part of the archipelago of The Whitsundays Islands. These three islands are known for their luxury resorts and for being stylish holiday destinations.

While you sail around the Whitsundays Islands passages, you will discover secret tiny beaches or large white sand paradises, stunning coral reefs where to splash and explore, untouched islands, surreal lookouts and more. With an overnight experience of one, two, three or four days you will be able to sleep under the stars, wake up in paradise and enjoy these magical places before the crowds arrive.
