The Islands
First of all, we invite you to check out this interactive map to make a better mental picture of the Whitsundays.

The most popular places visited in 2019 were Hamilton Island and Whitehaven Beach.

Hamilton Island is known for its wide range of activities  and luxury resort accomodation. The island has an airport, supermarket and post office. Most families and couples choose it because of its amazing hotels, water sports, and sunsets. If you are looking for some days to relax with great views and paradise beaches, this is the perfect spot. You can always make day tours to different islands and beaches from Hamilton and return on time for a good dinner. A ferry from Hamilton Island to Whitehaven Beach takes around 1 hour but you can also make it in 30 minutes with a high-speed catamaran.

People from all around the world make Whitehaven Beach a must-see when they come to Australia. This unique beach located in Whitsunday Islands is famous for its bright white sands, clear waters, and magnificent views from Hill Inlet lookout.

If you are looking for a catered adventure experience, there are different tours from Airlie Beach that take you to enjoy Whitehaven Beach for a whole day. Wings offer a variety of day tours to Whitehaven Beach at great prices that also include snorkelpaddle board, and even more activities in private bareboat charters.

There are no resorts on Whitehaven Beach and spending the night there is only possible in some camping areas. One of the most magical adventures you can have in the Whitsundays is to spend the night aboard a boat next to the beach and wake up before the first ferries from Airlie Beach arrive. This is the best chance you have of walking and swimming at Whitehaven alone or with your travel buddy.

Sleep aboard, wake up in paradise

Imagine spending the night on the sea and watching the ocean come to life in the dark with the underwater blue lights. If you want to sleep on the islands, instead of doing check-in and check-out in different hotels, you can sail around the Whitsunday Islands in a fully equipped catamaran and wake up in the type of places that you dream about.

Wings packages of 2 days / 2 nights or even 6 days / 6 nights plus provide all the necessary facilities, its all inclusive (except alcohol), from complete meals to comfortable beds and all the snorkeling equipment you need to sail around the Islands in style. 6 days 6 nights Wings Whitsunday Islands Tour

If you are keen to take your trip to the next level, the 6 - days sailing adventure will definitely suit you.

You have the chance of sailing, diving, and sleeping aboard in the outer Great Barrier Reef, which is isolated from the mainland. As it is a completely open ocean and there are no islands around, the experience is very different to the inner reef.

Most of the activities and places of the shorter outing (2 - days and 2 - nights) are covered. This also takes you to Langford Island and Hamilton Island, where the scenes and activities are totally worth it. So what’s it going to be? You can choose to focus more on just sailing and relaxing or take your adventure to the next level, it’s totally up to you!

There are also other, not so popular, places in the outer reef of Whitsundays and this is what makes them so awesomely special. Like Bait Reef, which is great for snorkelling. You can only visit these spots with a more extended privat charter package. Read on for more info... Wings private charters.
